I love books. This will be the place where I tell you about books I love, books I’m reading, books you should read, books you should give as gifts.
My favorites:
- The Bible, New Living Translation.
- The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom.
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
- Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.
Please post a comment telling me the books you love!

Great list! If you want to read more about Corrie Ten Boom, you should check out Pamela Rosewell Moore – she was companion the last seven years of Corrie Ten Boom’s life. I meet her last month when I went to Dallas for the PWOC Conference. I bought three of her books, but have only read two so far – The Five Silent Years of Corrie Ten Boom (which is about the years after CtB’s stroke till her death) and Safer Than a Know Way (which is about Mrs. Moor’s life – her testimony). After readying The Hiding Place and Tramp for the Lord years ago, it was neat to read behind the scenes.
Kelley,
Seeing your list of books is what inspired me to finally post my list. And I have the book “The Five Silent Years of Corrie ten Boom,” but I don’t remember much about it. I need to go back and read it again, as it’s probably been 30 years (or more) since I read it. We also have “Tramp for the Lord” by Corrie ten Boom, but I haven’t read that in years, either. I’ve never heard of “Safer Than a Know Way,” but it sounds like I need to add that to my list of books to read in 2011.
